The schools standard number for admissions is 30 for Reception.
Children are usually admitted once a year in September, and a meeting for parents of new children is held in the term prior to admission when full details of the everyday routine is given. There is also the opportunity for you and your child to meet the Reception class teacher and see the classroom in which your child will be placed.
More specific information on the curriculum and how you can help your child once he/she is at school is given to you at a meeting held soon after your child is admitted.
Parents are welcome to visit the school when they are considering registering their child and arrangements will be made to discuss the work and organisation of the school with intending parents. Prior arrangements need to be made for such visits. Please contact the school by telephone to make arrangements.
We follow LA guidelines, regarding priority needs, siblings and distance from school.
See below for the school's admissions policy.
This policy will be reviewed by the Headteacher, senior leadership team and whole staff to be presented to the Governors in the event of any changes.
